Number of .INFO Domain Aftermarket Sales Spike in Q1 2009

Despite issues with the global economy, .INFO domain name aftermarket sales appear to be fairing well. According to DNJournal.com data, the number of aftermarket sales of .info domains jumped in the first quarter of 2009. Specifically, the number of .info aftermarket sales in February and March were nearly triple that of the same month a year ago.

Despite the economy, total monthly industry revenue from .info aftermarket sales is up significantly, averaging over $50,000 per month. 2009 first quarter sales outpaced the same quarter in 2008 by nearly 2 to 1. Clearly .info domains are becoming more valuable as sales prices are increasing.
