Why they chose a .INFO site:

.INFO is all about information. aside from the fact the most .coms are no longer available, .INFO comes next to the cheapest domain names.

Simply put: this site is a nest of links to all my other online identities.

Why they chose a .INFO site:

A .info Domain, as its name suggests, should be used for giving more "info" about a particular entity. And since I only wanted to create a site which would provide more information about my online whereabouts - a .info domain name seemed more apt than a .com :)

As an author and researcher, I do often get questions about my biography and my publications. Like many others, I felt that the best way was to make the information available online, in French (my mother tongue) and in English.

Why they chose a .INFO site:

I love INFO anyway, and since I had been fortunate enough to have secured my family name in INFO, it was obvious that this would be the perfect extension for a personal website offering information on my biography and research. Much better, actually, than any other extension for such a purpose.

Why they chose a .INFO site:

The zone info is chosen because of long search of a suitable name for a site, in the native domain ru all names have been borrowed, and the domain info also in itself causes associations with the information, the choice was obvious.
